Photo Detectors

The Vishay photo detector portfolio includes ambient light sensors, photo diodes, photo transistors, and PIN photo diodes in surface-mount and leaded packages. Their growing range of applications includes automatic adjustment of backlight intensity for LCD displays, automotive applications such as rain sensors, and industrial applications such as light curtains and barriers and encoding wheels.
